Babies....Babies...Babies

Life has been so busy with a new baby, working full time and starting my photography business. I have lots of great friends who all have such beautiful children - I am going to share a few images of some of my recent sessions with some precious babies...

but first a new one of my sweet baby girl, Neeley Anne Mitchum (7 months)

First is Lila Grace Litchfield who was 6 months old in these photos. She will be 1 - May 6th - I can't belive how fast the time has gone by - it seems like yesterday she was born. She is so sweet and a "Daddy looking baby" Her mom and I have been friends since we were 5 or 6, we are life long friends and we are so excited that our children get to grow up together. If we have anything to do with it, they are going to be besties!

Then we have Lidge Michael Brock, Jr - his mom and I have been friends since college. He is another "Daddy looking baby" I am not sure why none of the mommies have babies look like them. Lidge is full of smiles and giggles - more to come of this "Chunky Monkey."

And Lidge's big sister Peyton Alexander Brock "Alex" is a little star, she has the best personality and is so fun. She loves tutus and dressing up - she is definalty my kind of girly girl! She is so sweet and absolutely beautiful - I love photographing her sweet face!

Addison Kate Taylor - was born in December, to a sweet friend, Becky. Addie Kate, was the most amazing baby to photograph, she slept the whole time, she let us move her around and after 4 hours and 600 images - I say we got exactly what we wanted. Some sweet pictures of a precious little girl.

Ross Caroline Boyles is 5 weeks younger than my Neeley Anne. Her mom is another very good friend of mine, Sara Wiley. Yes, we have given her a double name! Ross is a fashionista already, her mom always has her in the cutest clothes. We took her photos in her room which was designed by her "Interior Designer" mommy. It is very pretty with melon colored walls and lime green and white bedding. A room any little baby girl would LOVE!

The Wiggins Family - Beaufort, SC

What a sweet family - Alyson Wiggins is a Infant Massage instructor in Beaufort, SC. I took her class when Neeley was 5 weeks old and it was wonderful - she taught us how to massage and connect with our little ones, it was a wonderful experience and am so glad that I did it.

If you are interested let me know and I will get you in touch with Alyson - you won't regret it!

Here are a few pictures from her session - that was in her grandmothers yard overlooking the Beaufort River. Alyson has such a sweet family - you can see how happy they are!

Enjoy!

Liz Mitchum Photography - Beaufort, SC

Introducing...
Liz Mitchum Photography, Beaufort SC

Dreams do come true! I have always wanted to become a photographer, I minored in photography in college, but that was just the beginning. I worked for my mom for two years after college and learned so much from her. She taught me so much and I love having someone to share my passion with!

I research and study photography all the time. When I found out I was pregnant I realized my dream could come true, b/c I would have a fantastic subject to photograph and practice on. Some people laugh and say that my daughter Neeley is the most photographed baby EVER, well this may be true. Her first week of life, my mom (who is a professional photographer - Anne Westbury) and I took about 1,200 pictures of Neeley. Since that time - we are still taking pictures every chance we get. She has photo sessions pretty frequently while I practice lighting and posing.

Opening my photography business is a bucket list dream, I have lots - I also plan to run in my first 5K in a month....Yikes - I haven't really started training! All of this is before I turn 30 next year!

This blog will serve as a place to post my photography until I get my website up and running....I hope you enjoy.

Here are a few recent pictures of Neeley - yes, she is Santa Baby! She is so fun to take pictures of, she is what I call a "Daddy looking Baby!" She has his beautiful big blue eyes and sweet face. I think she is incredible - she may look like her daddy but she acts like me. She doesn't like to be by herself, if she is in the same room she wants to see me or better yet, be held. I was the same way - a people person!
